COMPLIMENTARY VIRTUAL HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

Red Hat Developer Day

Kubernetes + DevOps = OpenShift, Red Hat's Kubernetes for Developers

Join this introductory workshop to find out what is really meant by the oft quoted and misunderstood concept of DevOps and how it benefits not just business outcomes but developers' enjoyment of their day to day work. It's win/win!

We will draw on inspiration from the works of DevOps luminary Gene Kim to flesh out the WHAT and the WHY of DevOps. We'll show you how you can think of development in a way that is good for business AND good for developers. We'll even show you the meaning behind "The Mobius Loop", a symbol you can use for your new DevOps cause.

In the second half of the workshop, we'll start to investigate the HOW by providing hands-on instruction to Red Hat's Enterprise Kubernetes solution, OpenShift. You'll learn the basics of OpenShift, how it builds on the developer story from Kubernetes, and how it begins to enable the kind of development cadence and stability that was previously reserved for the Googles, Netflixes, and Amazons of the world.
