Red Hat® User Group (RHUG) events offer a unique opportunity for Red Hat technology users to gather and explore solutions to IT challenges with subject matter experts & peers. Join the next RHUG to network and get your hands dirty. Bring a laptop to join in or sit back and watch us do the work for you.
This event focuses on integrating security into development and deployment using Red Hat OpenShift® and various Red Hat security tools. It emphasizes "shifting left," or embedding security early in the development lifecycle, through hands-on activities that transform non-secure pipelines into secure ones.
Participants will use tools like OpenShift, Fulcio, Sigstore, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS), and SonarQube. The event is structured into three chapters, where participants play the roles of developers, QA engineers, and security engineers, learning to manage risks and secure their workflows using Red Hat's Trusted Application Pipeline (RHTAP).
