Event-Driven Ansible + Getting Started with ServiceNow Automation workshops, and Red Hat User Group

OVERVIEW

As a part of Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform, Event-Driven Ansible can process events containing discrete intelligence about conditions in the IT environment, determine the appropriate response to the event, then execute automated actions to address or remediate the event. During this event, we will demonstrate Event-Driven Ansible and how it provides the event-handling capability needed to automate time-consuming tasks and respond to changing conditions in any IT domain.

Workshop

During the workshop portion of the event, we will walk through the basics of EDA (Event-Driven Ansible) covering fundamentals. such as sources, rules, and actions and the corresponding technology and implementation through Ansible Rulebook CLI, rulebooks, source plugins, and EDA content collections.

This workshop requires students to have beginner-level knowledge of command-line Ansible, Visual Studio Code, and Git.

Hands-on Lab

In addition, Red Hat will also provide a hands-on lab on getting started with ServiceNow automation and introduce participants to the world of IT Service Management (ITSM) automation. Attendees will gain theoretical insights and dive into practical applications, acquiring valuable experience in automating tasks and processes using the powerful combination of Ansible Automation Platform and ServiceNow. 

Designed for individuals eager to elevate their ITSM proficiency, this course offers a unique opportunity for participants to understand Ansible and ServiceNow integrations in a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
