Overview

What is it used for?

Ansible delivers simple, powerful, agentless IT automation that ends repetitive tasks and frees up teams for more strategic work. Ansible can be used to automate configuraton management, provisioning, app deployment, continuous delivery, orchestration, security and audit compliance/remediation.

What can it be used on?

Infrastructure (Linux, Windows, VMWare..), Networking Devices (Cisco, Palo Alto, F5...), Containers (OpenShift, Docker, Operators...), Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack), and DevOps Tools (Splunk, JBoss, ServiceNow, other middleware..)

Why?

FRTIB has recently invested in a small amount of Ansible Tower. Our goal for the workshop is to sperad adoption of this powerful tool through enablement to help support a successful automation journey.
