RHEL Workshop: Getting the Most out of Your System

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
When asked what the most important part of their job is, many linux administrators say it is dealing with application and system performance issues. They also say this is the most time-consuming and difficult part of their job. In this workshop, attendees will be introduced to the bcc-tools which provide real-time performance data which will help them identify issues on poorly performing applications or systems.  Attendees will also work with Red Hat Insights, a system analytics tool included with Red Hat Enterprise Linux which helps identify system and configuration issues, hopefully heading off issues before they impact the system and applications.

Topics:

  • Performance observability in practice with bcc-tools
  • Using Red Hat Insights
