The next Detroit Area RHUG will be held on December 11th at Emagine in Royal Oak.  We are excited to host our quarterly gathering during the holiday season. With it being the holiday season we are going to focus more on socializing and fun and games while still providing attendees with high quality content from our engineering team, local SA’s and our customers.
We are particularly excited with the agenda for this RHUG as we have both a customer and someone from our engineering organization speaking.  It should be great!
  • AF Group will be speaking on how they are ensuring compliance and security using OpenSCAP and Satellite
  • Brian Dumont from Red Hat will be presenting on an advanced Tower Workflow topic - Using the Workflow Visualizer to deploy a multi tier application
  • We are also starting a series on Red Hat’s approach to Artificial Intelligence.  Whether it is machine learning, data science, or big data, but regardless of what you call it, there is no mistake that these technologies are becoming a bigger part of our daily lives. But how do you incorporate machine learning into your organization? What types of workflows will you need to adopt? And how will these processes fit into your existing infrastructures?
We are envisioning a 3 part series on AI/ML led by Michael McCune.  In this presentation, Michael will cover a high level view of machine learning and how it relates to the process of software development. He will cover the basic flow of information from data scientists to application developers, and demonstrate how OpenShift can be used to ease and accelerate this process.
Please park IN THE STRUCTURE adjacent to the front doors, located at 300 North Main Street. You will pull a ticket to enter the structure, we will give you a pass to exit and not get charged.
