During this session, attendees will learn about two, of the many, security-related features included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux: Terminal Session Recording and System-wide Cryptography Policy. Both of these features were introduced in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and offer new capabilities to system administrators for auditing and configuring the encryption ciphers offered to applications running on the machine.

RHUG
Are you looking for new tools and more capability to administer your RHEL systems? Red Hat Enterprise Linux is equipped with the tools and extended services that you need to deploy, secure, and maintain your environment however it is deployed in the hybrid cloud - all are included with a RHEL subscription. During this portion of the event, attendees will dive into an hour-long session devoted to discussion and demonstrations of the feature-rich integration found in the Web Console, Red Hat Insights for RHEL, and the Hybrid Cloud console, with emphasis on improving security.

This workshop is ideal for developers, system administrators, and architects with a technical background interested in learning how the tools in Red Hat Enterprise Linux enable faster delivery of workloads, with less effort.
Requirements
Lab materials will be provided.
Attendees should have a basic understanding of working with Linux systems and must have a laptop with Chrome 73+, Firefox 60+, Edge 40+, or Safari 12+ installed. There is no student prep work required prior to the workshop.
