OVERVIEW
The OpenShift Showcase is a unique, hands-on experience that demonstrates how organizations rely on Red Hat® OpenShift® and related offerings to develop and modernize applications on a hybrid cloud platform. This single-day experience, caters to business leaders, developers and operations practitioners with tailored hands-on labs that explore modern tooling, techniques, and architectures. In addition, IT operations, data engineers, data scientists, and application developers will have the opportunity to build, train, and deploy an AI model and integrate it into an application with a hands-on lab. They’ll experience what it is like to go from an idea to building an accurate model to having a production-ready application.
The OpenShift Showcase consists of a modular agenda providing value to individuals of a wide range of roles and familiarity with with Red Hat OpenShift. For example, the day will comprise of 3 tracks. covering high-level methodologies, industry best practices, and engagement strategies, and insight into how organizations are using and delivering AI-enabled applications with speed across the hybrid cloud.
Following the workshop, join us for a Red Hat User Group (RHUG) event - a gathering of open source enthusiasts sharing experiences, learning about Red Hat solutions, and networking with local peers. The RHUG will extend on the learnings and conversations from the OpenShift Showcase, exploring experiences and learnings related to the what, when, how of OpenShift Virtualization, over good food and drink.
What you’ll learn and experience at the Showcase:
- Learn how development teams can create intelligent applications powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) algorithms on OpenShift, with the help of Red Hat OpenShift AI.
- Which workloads should be prioritized for application modernization and how they can be migrated to a hybrid cloud application platform.
- Full immersion into cloud-native development models and how they can be implemented to build modern applications across your organization.
- Hands-on overview of application services, with particular emphasis on Kafka, API management, and integration, and how they can enhance your application portfolio.
- Decision makers will learn application modernization strategies, techniques, and industry best practices through the Business Leader track.
- AI/ML market, technology, and operational trends that will help inform your organization’s AI/ML initiatives.
- How a hybrid MLOps platform - and its partner ecosystem - eases collaboration between IT, data science, and application development teams to enable faster innovation.
- Use case and implementation lessons other organizations have learned from starting or optimizing their AI/ML software application delivery process.
- Hands-on experience working on a MLOps platform. Key lessons include working with data science projects and workbenches, training different models and measuring accuracy, serving and deploying models, integrating different models and capabilities into a frontend application, and testing the application as a user.
- RHUG: As an extension of the Showcase, IT professionals, developers, and open source enthusiasts will gather to continue the conversation of OpenShift Virtualization.
