OVERVIEW

The OpenShift Showcase is a unique, hands-on experience that demonstrates how organizations rely on Red Hat® OpenShift® and related offerings to develop and modernize applications on a hybrid cloud platform. A single-day experience, the Showcase caters to both developer and operations practitioners with tailored hands-on labs that explore modern tooling, techniques, and architectures.
 
This event consists of a modular agenda providing value to individuals of a wide range of roles and maturity levels with Red Hat OpenShift. For example, while the audience for this workshop is developers and operators, there are sessions for decision makers in the business leader track that cover high-level methodologies, industry best practices, and engagement strategies.
 
Following the workshop, join us for a Red Hat User Group (RHUG) event - a gathering of open source enthusiasts sharing experiences, learning about Red Hat solutions, and networking with local peers. The RHUG will extend on the learnings and conversations from the OpenShift Showcase, exploring experiences and learnings related to the what, when, how of OpenShift Virtualization, over good food and drink.
 
 
What you’ll learn and experience at the Showcase:
  • Learn how development teams can create intelligent applications powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) algorithms on OpenShift, with the help of Red Hat OpenShift AI. 
  • Which workloads should be prioritized for application modernization and how they can be migrated to a hybrid cloud application platform. 
  • Full immersion into cloud-native development models and how they can be implemented to build modern applications across your organization. 
  • Hands-on overview of application services, with particular emphasis on Kafka, API management, and integration, and how they can enhance your application portfolio.
  • Decision makers will learn application modernization strategies, techniques, and industry best practices through the Business Leader track.
  • RHUG: As an extension of the Showcase, IT professionals, developers, and open source enthusiasts will gather to continue the conversation of OpenShift Virtualization.
