Keynote: Automation as the key to unlocking the potential of AI for Enterprise IT
Walter Bentley, Catalyst Strategy Director, Ansible BU

If you’re a leader in the technology industry, all you’ve heard in the past year is that AI is going to change everything. And that may well be true! But AI cannot - and will not - magically fix broken IT ops. Trying to incorporate AI into an enterprise stack that is siloed, poorly orchestrated, and lacks consistent governance is a recipe for disaster.

While the “AI revolution” gets all the buzz, there is another wave of transformation happening to help pave the way for successful enterprise-wide adoption of AI. We call it “mission-critical automation,” which is a strategic mindset shift focused on helping organizations establish a more reliable, consistent, and compliant IT ops foundation for sustainable success with AI.

In this session, we’ll share the Red Hat vision for mission-critical automation, highlight how some of our customers are putting it into action, and outline how automation can help your organization be better prepared for successful AI adoption with Ansible.

Accelerating automation in your organization through Community of Practice
Piyush Patel, Sr. Manager - Automation Practice, Red Hat

Automation is no longer a nice to have, it has become a key component of any transformation or modernization effort. This is why Ansible is in the top quadrant by Gartner. To gain the real benefits of Ansible one has to see it as an automation framework rather than just another tool. The new architecture of Ansible automation platform was designed with these key factors; Velocity Collaboration and Enterprise grade. To mature and grow in this journey Red Hat promotes building a Community of Practice(CoP) around automation. Everyone has heard of the Center of Excellence where you have one team or group who are the experts. To be able to scale this needs to be transformed into a Community where everyone can come to contribute and collaborate. In this session, we will highlight how Red Hat can help you along this path and how to promote and build a CoP around Ansible Automation.

No more tickets: Observability and Event-Driven Automation
Patrick Toal, Senior Specialist Solution Architect, Ansible, Red Hat

You will leave this session with inspiration to take your automation to the next level with Event-Driven Ansible.  You probably won't eliminate tickets, but you can reduce their number, reduce the MTTR, and reduce on-call hours.  The path to AIOps involves automating your operations.  You will hear about how you can integrate your observability and operations.  You will see a demo of Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, sending Alerts to Ansible EDA controller, and running playbooks to automatically remediate common issues, like disk full, certificate expiry, and more.

Automation development practices: Linting and testing
Phil Avery, Principal Solution Architect, Ansible, Red Hat

Learn how to implement Ansible Linting to ensure good code as defined by your organization to your developers in both real time and when code gets pushed to source control. You will also learn how molecules can be used to not only ensure that the code is correct but run unit tests to confirm the playbooks and roles behave as needed. This is incredibly useful when doing life cycle management.
