AWS Immersion Day | Sydney

Advanced Observability and Automation in AWS with Red Hat and Dynatrace

Tuesday, 23 April, 2024 | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM AEST
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Level 37, 2/26 Park St, Sydney NSW 2000

OVERVIEW

Join Red Hat, Dynatrace and AWS for this invaluable immersion day workshop – hosted in person at the AWS office, Sydney with lunch and refreshments provided.

Who should attend?

This is an excellent session for application teams, architects, developers, technical leads, operations engineers, and infrastructure teams who are looking to learn more about modernising and running workloads to and in the AWS cloud and how the use of AI and automation can accelerate that process.

What to expect?

You’ll be in the driver’s seat for a guided, hands-on experience with AWS partners, Red Hat and Dynatrace, who will help you explore AI-powered performance observability and scaling across AWS hybrid-cloud environment with the power of automation.

Note: Dynatrace’s OneAgent automatically supports byte-code instrumentation for Amazon EC2, AWS Container Services including Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA), AWS Lambda and AWS Fargate right out of the box. Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform has extensive certified automation libraries for a wide range of AWS services, other hybrid platforms and Dynatrace.

In the hands-on workshop you’ll learn:

  • How to use technology to automatically discovery end-to-end applications, including services, processes, and hosts – including a 100% complete dependency map for the entire environment, with automation to quickly and easily configure and deploy monitoring
  • How you can open full end-user application and infrastructure visibility for BOTH your classic, on-premises systems, AND your modern cloud environments with one single solution.
  • How you can significantly reduce troubleshooting by using AI to detect problems, pinpoint root cause (including the business impact) - and harness the power of automation to auto-remediate with zero human intervention
  • How to detect if customers are impacted or disrupted by the migration process by analysing data across all tiers of the tech stack – from the browser to the code level, clearly and easily.
  • How to enjoy the noise reduction as meaningless alerts disappear and you watch them being replaced with actionable alerts for super-fast mean time to resolve, and remediation becomes a breeze with automated action across a range of challenges.

Prerequisites

  • Presenters will guide you through a series of demonstrations to get hands on with the technology.
  • Our interactive lab environment for the Immersion Day can sometimes have compatibility issues with SoE build laptops from your employer - please bring along a personal laptop to the session if you've encountered these issues before
  • You will also require access to an AWS environment which will be provided during the lab. You will receive access at the beginning of the workshop.
