What is Ansible, how does it work in the most basic form on the command line - and where does Ansible Tower fit it?

This workshop teaches the basic bits you need to start using Ansible Automation on your own. In the second half we will focus on Ansible Tower and show where it fits in - and when and why you absolutely need it when you automate more and more.

Parking options:

  • There are free, non-metered parking slots located on Molton St.
  • $5 All Day lot directly next to 41 Commerce St.
  • The red meters on Commerce St. are 30 mins max. Black meters do not allow you to refill over 2hrs at a time
  • Free parking at 235 Lee Street, formerly Alabama Gas Company (Alagasco). Note: Please be aware that parking may be temporarily unavailable due to construction at this location. Use caution and enter through the car tunnel (single car pass only). After parking, proceed back through the driveway tunnel. Immediately across the street you will see the Chamber of Commerce Parking Garage. Proceed through the parking garage, through the courtyard to arrive at the back door to MGMWERX.
  • Note: The burgundy parking garage “Chamber of Commerce parking facility” is permit only.
