Eager to learn how to deploy, manage, and innovate on a platform that will meet your needs today and scale for the future? Join Red Hat in Ottawa for a hands-on technical workshop paired with a Red Hat® User Group (RHUG) and learn about all things Red Hat Enterprise Linux® (RHEL).

Workshop
During this session, attendees will learn about two, of the many, security-related features included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux: Terminal Session Recording and System-wide Cryptography Policy.  Both of these features were introduced in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and offer new capabilities to system administrators for auditing and configuring the encryption ciphers offered to applications running on the machine.

RHUG
During this portion of the event, come and enjoy lunch and socialize and then learn more during our Red Hat User Group (RHUG).
 
Following Red Hat Summit and AnsibleFest, we invite you to enjoy a recap of the flagship event, focusing on core Red Hat services, like Red Hat Ansible® Automation, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Red Hat OpenShift®, and technical best practices on topics such as cloud architecture, continuous deployment, large-scale migrations, and artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).
 
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is ideal for developers, system administrators, and architects with a technical background interested in learning how the tools in Red Hat Enterprise Linux enable faster delivery of workloads, with less effort. 
 
Requirements
Lab materials will be provided.
 
Attendees should have a basic understanding of working with Linux systems and must have a laptop with Chrome 73+, Firefox 60+, Edge 40+, or Safari 12+ installed. There is no student prep work required prior to the workshop.
